摘要与影响
Modernization is a boon to society and the world has started trending toward smart concepts where technology involves existing systems along with an intermix of information technology. With the rapid industrialization process, the use of conventional sources has increased a lot. This will lead to a shortage of conventional sources like coal and petroleum. Moreover, energy extraction from these sources and their uses in daily activities creates environmental pollution. Thus, the need of the time is to switch to green technology, which is clean and pollution-free. There are different types of renewable sources like solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, and ocean energy. Every industry whether renewable or nonrenewable requires effective energy audit and management. Energy management is the process of planning, organizing, and managing the usage of energy consumption in an organization considering several aspects like time management, system input, cost-benefit analysis, output to bring overall improvement to the company. Similarly, an energy audit is also carried in every organization to have a regular check of energy inflow and outflow and record surplus energy balance with a scope of any improvement in energy usage.
