摘要与影响
Colloidal quantum dot (QD) patterns serve as the emissive layers for ultrahigh‐resolution QD light‐emitting diodes (QLEDs), where their structural and morphological quality directly governs device efficiency, color purity, and luminous uniformity for advanced display applications like virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). Driven by these continuous advancements, this review outlines the fundamentals, fabrication strategies, and future perspectives of template‐assisted patterning for ultrahigh‐resolution QLEDs. We begin by establishing the foundational device architectures, working mechanisms, and key functional layers that dictate the performance of ultrahigh‐resolution QLEDs. Building upon these fundamentals, we elucidate the core principles of template‐assisted patterning and critically assess advanced pixel engineering strategies, such as transfer printing, self‐assembly, and crosslinking, for achieving ultrahigh‐resolution devices. We highlight the formidable bottlenecks in bridging the gap between passive high‐resolution patterning and true full‐color active‐matrix backplane integration. Furthermore, we outline future trajectories toward ultrahigh‐resolution blue QLEDs with exceptional performance, Cd‐free nano‐QLEDs, inherently stretchable architectures, and the integration of these emitters into next‐generation AR/VR and advanced optoelectronic systems.
