摘要与影响
Insufficient mechanical strength and tedious preparation processes of corrosion‐resistant superhydrophobic coatings have long restricted their practical application. In this work, a superhydrophobic coating is proposed through the incorporation of multiscale micro‐glass fiber (GF)/micro‐TiB 2 /nano‐TiO 2 particles into soft membrane polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)@polyurethane (PU) via a single‐step spraying method. The strategy of multiscale structure design can effectively enhance the robustness of superhydrophobic coatings from six aspects: GF weaving reinforcement, TiB 2 as “hard” micro‐skeletons, TiO 2 as wear‐resistant bearing points, PDMS as modifier as well as a molecular binder, PU providing an interface‐strengthening effect, and soft membrane as a stress‐buffering medium. Consequently, the optimized coating with water contact angle (WCA) of 165.0° ± 1.8° and sliding angle (SA) of 5.0° ± 1.2° possesses robust superhydrophobicity and remarkably multi‐functional characteristics. Typically, the coating exhibits superior anti‐corrosion performance with impedance modulus (| Z | 0.01Hz ) up to 4.0 × 10 5 Ω·cm 2 at low frequencies and corrosion protection efficiency of 97.2% in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution.
