摘要与影响
Water Modulation In Research Article e73729, Shaolin Li and co-workers introduce a multi-scale water modulation strategy using a hydrophilic polysaccharide network to suppress nanoscale zero-valent iron (nZVI) corrosion. By redistributing water molecular states (free, intermediate, and bound water), imposing nanoscale confinement, and establishing interfacial H2 microdomains, the strategy achieves >96% suppression of hydrogen evolution and preserves ∼68% Fe(0) over 60 days, positioning water as an active, tunable participant in redox processes.
