摘要与影响
This paper is a narrative literature review that looks at how artificial intelligence improves design processes instead of replacing human invention. It synthesizes recent empirical and conceptual work to examine how AI augments design creativity, instead of treating augmentation as a uniform or guaranteed outcome. AI brings strong tools for quick variation generation, simulation, and visualization that open creative potential and shorten development cycles. Conventional design depended on individual intuition, iterative reflection, and domain experience. Generative tools help experienced designers to investigate more daring, more aspirational ideas by means of recombinant novelty and real-time feedback, particularly benefiting beginning and intermediate designers, disrupting design fixedness. Drawing on recent empirical studies, this review finds that human-AI interaction frequently raises, though not universally or unconditionally, the number and perceived originality of ideas under experimental conditions, expertise levels, and task types, quickens prototyping, and democratizes access to sophisticated visualization tools across fields including architecture, fashion, product design, and interaction design. These benefits vary by design discipline, designer expertise, and stage of the design process, and the review makes this variation, instead of single averaged effect, a central object of analysis. There are still significant issues including algorithmic homogenization that might lower group diversity, lack of actual emotional intelligence, authorship and ownership problems, embedded prejudice, and dangers of talent loss from over-reliance. The research advocates deliberate socio-technical integration in which people provide direction, cultural sensitivity, emotional resonance, and ethical judgment, while AI manages combinatorial inquiry and scale. The most encouraging way ahead is balanced hybrid workflows that stress advanced prompting, critical curation under human supervision. The paper finds that deliberate human agency drives hybrid, distributed AI-augmented creativity, increasing human creative reach with significant implications for future research, practice, and design education.
