摘要与影响
The problem of temporary fastener pattern optimization in aircraft assembly is considered. Minimizing the number of fasteners while maintaining final product quality is one of the key factors for intensifying production in the aerospace industry. The considered problem is combinatorial with uncertain input data. Objective function computation requires massive contact problem solving that makes the implementation of standard black-box optimization techniques problematic. The proposed novel optimization approach avoids objective function multiple calculations by using the specifics of assembly process. Efficiency of the approach is demonstrated by comparison with optimization techniques based on local variations for optimization of wing-to-fuselage assembly process.
