摘要与影响
Perez-Alba et al., [1] conducted a cross-sectional survey study to evaluate the general public’s understanding as well as preference regarding spine surgery techniques which included both traditional open procedures as well as newer methods of surgical intervention. The evolution of spine surgery over the past two decades has seen the advancement of technology such as robotics and minimally invasive surgery and the increased ubiquity of endoscopic techniques. Given the favorable outcomes demonstrated with these less invasive techniques, there has been a surge in marketing utilizing several different phrases focused on introducing patients to these surgeries [2].
