The CO 2 reduction to ethanol properties of dual-atoms anchored on Ti 2 CO 2 are explored. Co–Fe/Ti 2 CO 2 emerges as optimal catalyst, exhibiting superior ethanol selectivity/activity via Co electronic delocalization for enhanced intermediate adsorption.
