摘要与影响
This study investigates the reliability of impact damage in Type IV hydrogen storage cylinders. A finite element-based cylinder model was developed and implemented in ABAQUS to simulate damage evolution under various impact energy levels. The results show that the primary failure modes include fiber fracture, matrix cracking, and interlayer delamination, with damage severity exhibiting a nonlinear positive correlation with impact energy. A reliability scoring model was developed using quantitative damage indicators derived from simulation data, providing operational criteria for damage repair decisions and safety evaluations.
