摘要与影响
Student feedback literacy (SFL) refers to understanding, interpreting, and utilizing feedback to improve their work and learning strategies. Even though the SFL Scale has received some attention, the traditional SFL dimensions face new challenges as GenAI grows in popularity. To address this, the current study develops a new SFL Scale for college students for the GenAI context, GenAI-SFLS in short. The responses of 255 college students were used for the scale validation in exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and 666 for first- and second-order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The validated GenAI-SFLS consists of four dimensions and nine specific key factors: cognitive dimension (feedback knowledge and appreciation), behavioral dimension (feedback prompting skills, feedback judgment, and enaction of feedback), affective dimension (emotional recognition, readiness to engage, and commitment to change), and ethical dimension (feedback ethics). Moreover, a multi-group CFA confirmed the scale’s construct validity and structural consistency across gender, major, and educational background. Recommendations for improving SFL in the context of GenAI are made for educators and students.
