摘要与影响
This research explores the intersection of Industry 4.0 with Human Resources (HR) in business settings. A systematic literature review (SLR) is conducted using an original approach, embedding an AI stage to carry out a systematic literature review in academic papers that highlight the challenges and opportunities arising for HR in the context of industrial revolutions. The findings emphasise the need for companies to invest in training and development programmes for employees to work alongside automated systems. Integrating Industry 4.0 technologies also necessitates re-evaluating traditional HRM (HR Management) practices, requiring a shift towards data-driven decision-making, upskilling, and reskilling initiatives. The review underscores the important role of HR in promoting sustainable and cross-sectoral practices and addressing ethical and legal implications of HR technology. The research findings provide insights for HR practitioners and policymakers in navigating the challenges and opportunities of Industry 4.0. The review also identifies avenues for future research, including investigating the impact of Industry 4.0 technologies on employee well-being, studying the intersection of sustainability and HRM, conducting cross-cultural studies, and exploring the evolution of HRM in the digital age.
