Nuclear fission energy has incomparable huge advantages than other energy in solving the conflicts between rapid growth of energy needs and environmental protection because of its high energy density, low-carbon emissions and the potential for sustainable development. Especially in China, the energy structure is in a critical period of strategy transition from coal-based high-carbon energy to low-carbon energy. Development of nuclear energy has become one of the strategic focuses of China's medium and long-term energy development plan.
