Research on the High-Quality Development of Hydrogen Energy Industry Chain of Jiangxi Province in China

As an important direction of energy technology revolution and a key component of future energy strategic reserves, hydrogen energy is one of cutting-edge emerging industries that China accelerates its development. Overallly, Jiangxi Province has laid a solid foundation for the development of hydrogen energy industry after years of exploration. However, there are still four major problems including low level of innovation platforms, insufficient coordination among “production, storage, transportation and application”, an incomplete policy system, and lagging standardization construction. It should focus on four links of the hydrogen energy industry-production, storage, transportation and application, continuously consolidate innovation chain, enhance industrial chain, optimize policy chain and strengthen governance chain, which can comprehensively build an innovation system, industrial system, policy system and governance system for hydrogen energy industry that reflect Jiangxi’s characteristics and advantages, and steadily promote high-quality development of hydrogen energy industrial chain in Jiangxi Province.
