摘要与影响
Rapid land development has caused a series of land use problems, such as low utilization rate of land, imbalance of urban land structure ratio as well as rapid urban expansion, and intensified contradiction of land supply and demand. The rational implementation of land use planning can alleviate these problems to a certain extent. With the development of computer science, it has become inevitable to apply computer technology to explore land use change mechanisms and implement land use planning rationally. Land use is a complex system interacted by natural and socioeconomic factors, and the cellular automata model is a powerful tool to explore complex systems. The cellular automata model can express the spatial structure and patterns of complex systems and is widely used in land use change simulation and future urban scenario prediction, which can be an effective tool for spatial exploration in designing land use planning schemes. This paper introduces the cellular automata model and its transformation rules in land use change research, reviews the progress of cellular automata model research in the field of geography and proposes suggestions for future research work.
