Multi-beam reception is needed when airborne bistatic radar is conducting large range search. Traditional clutter suppression methods require simultaneous clutter suppression of data from multiple beams based on subarrays, where each receiving direction necessitates several subarrays for processing, which leading to increased radar complexity and cost. This study introduces an approach that directly processes clutter data in the beam domain. It compensates for the non-stationarity of clutter by employing a least square method to construct an interpolation matrix. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed beam domain clutter compensation method in improving clutter non-stationarity. This approach provides a novel avenue for clutter suppression in airborne bistatic radar system.
