Improved Statically Compensated Voltage Model for Full-Speed Sensorless SPMSM Drive

This paper mainly based on the Hybrid Flux Observer (HFO) for surface permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) sensorless control, establishes a mathematical model for the HFO, and designs a PI and R cascade controller to track the flux error in HFO without steady-state error. A multiple statically compensated voltage model (SCVM) network was proposed to remove the fifth and seventh harmonic components in the flux and enhance the precision of the position estimation at medium and high speeds for SPMSM. To further improve low-speed performance for sensorless operation, the SCVM is improved to achieve Position Independent Speed Acquisition in the d-q axes. Finally, the proposed algorithm is verified by building a simulation model.
