With the advancement of Mars exploration and deep space exploration technology, the metal powder-CO! rocket engine suitable for the Martian atmosphere has received more and more attention from scholars. In this paper, we summarized some researches about power-CO2propulsion technology, including the combustion mechanism studies and pivotal technologies. Then, we pointed out some potential research directions in the future.
