摘要与影响
Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) put pressure on conventional lighting sources like compact fluorescence light (CFL), high-pressure metal lamps, metal halides, and incandescent lamps due to their energy and color-efficient properties and ease of control. As per global statistics, LEDs are expected to replace CFLs to a greater extent by 2022. An LED is not just a light bulb; its application is extended to data transfer, healthcare facilities, and detecting people and their motion. In some cases, it can control light, hue, and intensity (with GPRS/GSM, WiFi, ZigBee), a 16:4 contamination ratio of red–blue (RB) LED in a controlled environment can support photosynthesis, it generates carbon credit, and in a certain environment, it can support the poultry sector. This article emphasizes LED applications in different domains, including diametrical LEDs with related issues, regulations, challenges, applicability, and solutions
