A semi-analytic approach for modelling the distributed capacitance and the elecrooptic confinement factor of the slot waveguide in a silicon-organic hybrid Mach-Zehnder modulator using the principle of conformal mapping is presented. The results show a deviation of less than 1.3% compared with numerical field simulations.
