摘要与影响
Metal oxides (MOs) have a variety of structural properties and are essential to modern materials research as well as a broad range of technological uses. Their exceptional mechanical stability, thermal resistance, and catalytic efficacy are a result of their crystal structures, which are frequently defined by intricate configurations of metal cations and oxygen anions. MO have a special bonding that gives them a high degree of hardness, which makes them good for protective coatings and abrasives. Their application in high-temperature processes and refractory materials is made possible by their thermal stability. MOs TiO₂, ZnO, SiO 2 and FeO₃ nanoparticles (NPs) exhibit effectivity in energy storage, environmental remediation, and catalysis, because of their properties like tunable surface area, different patterns, and porosity. Moreover, due to their structural characteristics, MOs can be applicable for gas sensing, water splitting, and photocatalysis in solar energy conversion. Their vast applications are in the fields of electronics, optoelectronics, and biomedical devices by doping, nano structuring, and surface modification. MOs are becoming more and more important in sustainable technologies, especially in green chemistry and pollution control. This indicates that the MOs will have a significant impact in the development of new materials in the future.
