This paper studies the distributed output feedback tracking problem for polynomial nonlinear multi-agent systems, where the unknown polynomial growth condition depends on unmeasurable states. Different from the existing results where only linear growth condition is considered, we consider a more general growth condition, the polynomial growth condition. A homogeneous output feedback controller is designed for the nominal system, and then an observer and controller constructed with appropriate gain are selected to ensure that the errors between followers’ outputs and leader’s output can be arbitrarily small when all states of the closed-loop system are bounded. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the design scheme.
