摘要与影响
Industry-education integration is fundamental to professional master's degree programs. Yet local application-oriented universities serving the marine sector continue to struggle with weak enterprise engagement, superficial collaboration, nominal dual-supervisor arrangements, and a persistent gap between thesis research and industrial needs. In response to Guangxi's ocean-oriented economic strategy, Beibu Gulf University established a joint postgraduate training base with CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd., guided by the Ocean Engineering and Technology specialization in its 2025 Master of Mechanical Engineering program. The base operates through two core mechanisms: full-process collaborative supervision by dual-supervisor teams and thesis topic selection grounded in authentic enterprise engineering problems. First-year results indicate that this entity-based co-construction model effectively stimulates enterprise motivation for talent development, markedly improves students' competence in solving marine engineering problems, and generates increased collaborative research output. This base construction experience offers a replicable model for coastal universities seeking to strengthen industry-education integration in their professional master's programs and develop distinctive ocean-oriented talent cultivation systems.
