Study on Strategies for Leveraging Digital Economy in Rural Industrial Revitalization

*CORRIGENDUM on final page* Against the backdrop of in-depth digital transformation, rural industrial revitalization has gained unprecedented development opportunities and core driving forces. As a new type of production factor, data relies on the iterative upgrading of digital technologies to release significant scale effects and multiplier effects. Through in-depth integration with innovative business models, it injects breakthrough vitality into the transformation and upgrading of rural industries. This study adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative theoretical analysis with quantitative data insights to systematically explore the inherent mechanisms and practical challenges of the digital economy empowering rural industrial revitalization. The research reveals that the digital economy plays a key enabling role in fields such as agricultural production, product circulation, rural cultural tourism, and human capital development through three major pathways: improving industrial operational efficiency, promoting precise industrial upgrading, and expanding integrated new business formats. However, prominent difficulties still exist in current practice, including a significant digital divide, weak digital infrastructure, a shortage of high-end digital talents, and insufficient support from rural digital inclusive finance. Based on these findings, this study proposes targeted optimization strategies from four dimensions: strengthening the construction of digital infrastructure, establishing a multi-level talent cultivation system, innovating rural digital financial services, and improving the policy supervision and guarantee mechanism. It aims to provide theoretical references and practical paths for breaking through the bottlenecks in the digital transformation of rural industries, building a positive cycle of mutual promotion between the digital economy and rural industrial revitalization, and contributing to the construction of a strong agricultural country and the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.
