摘要与影响
This chapter explores the CFRP grinding mechanism of single-grain of CNT nanolubricant MQL. A mechanical model is established based on the unique geometric interactions between the grain and fibers, which arise from random fiber arrangements and the grain topography under varying undeformed chip thicknesses. Firstly, four distinct contact and grinding models are developed, corresponding to different interaction states between the grain and fiber throughout the grinding arc length. Subsequently, the influence of different grinding parameters on the geometry of the cutting zone is elucidated. Then, a mechanical model for single-grain grinding is established, which incorporates the homogeneous randomness of fiber distribution across the entire grinding arc length. Finally, the model is numerically simulated and the trend of force along the entire grinding arc length is obtained. Experimental verifications demonstrate the approach for predicting the grinding force have acceptable accuracy and can successfully capture the mechanics of CFRPs.
