Research on port-industry-city integration of Tianjin

Port-industry-city integration is a new era issue facing coastal cities. Promoting the integrated development of port and city is conducive to enhancing the vitality of the city, promoting industrial development and optimizing the functional of the port. As an important strategic resource of the China, Tianjin Port is the gateway to the sea for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the sea-land intersection of the “the Belt and Road”, and an important node of the New Eurasian Land Bridge. The integrated development of port-city-industry can maximize the advantages of port resources and better serve the coordinated development of urban areas. Based on this, this article analyzes the models of integrated development of port-city-industry at home and abroad, the subjective and objective contradictions in the process of integrated development and proposes suggestions for the integrated development of port- city-industry in Tianjin.
