摘要与影响
This study aims to analyze the resilience of the household consumption sector as the main pillar of Indonesia's economic growth in the period 2020–2025. Using a quantitative descriptive approach with secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and Bank Indonesia Consumer Surveys, this study examines the contribution, dynamics, and factors influencing the resilience of household consumption amid various economic shocks. The results show that household consumption consistently contributes more than 53% to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), with a growth rate of 4.98% in 2025. Bank Indonesia's Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) at an optimistic level (>100) throughout 2024–2025 indicates that public confidence in economic conditions remains intact despite inflationary pressures and global uncertainty. Household consumption resilience is influenced by several key factors: income stability, government social protection policies, trade digitalization, and middle-class expansion. This study recommends strengthening purchasing power through inclusive fiscal policies and the sustainability of social safety net programs as instruments for maintaining long-term consumption stability.
