It is with great pleasure and pride that I welcome you to iPURSE2025, the annual multidisciplinary research symposium of the University of Peradeniya.Over the years, iPURSE has grown into a premier academic forum, bringing together a diverse and vibrant community of scholars, researchers, professionals, and students who are united by a shared commitment to advancing knowledge and innovation.This year's theme, "Navigating the Future: A Multidisciplinary Perspective," emphasizes the urgent need to approach global challenges through collaborative and cross-disciplinary efforts.As the world continues to grapple with rapid technological advancement, environmental pressures, shifting economic paradigms, and evolving societal needs, the importance of research that spans traditional academic boundaries has never been greater.The symposium features a broad range of contributions spanning health and well-being, agriculture and veterinary sciences, engineering and technology, fundamental sciences, business and management, education, social sciences, and public policy.We are particularly honored to host four keynote speeches by world-renowned scientists, who will share insights from the forefront of global research.In addition, a plenary panel discussion on "The Future of Work and University Curricula" will explore how higher education must adapt to remain relevant and impactful in a rapidly changing world.
